マウス胎仔口蓋組織を用いた器官培養系において，TCDDの投与が口蓋板癒合に及ぼす影響を観察した．その結果，TCDDにより口蓋の癒合率は低下するが，濃度が高くても50%程度は癒合することがわかった．また免疫染色によりTGF-β3の発現抑制が認められた．TCDDの影響は直接作用のみならず間接作用も関与していることが示唆された

上顎骨臼歯部中心性癌の1症例を経験した．初診時は抜歯窩治癒不全の診断であったが，切除生検により扁平上皮癌と診断した．局所切除のみで良好な結果を得ている．
